Sophomore Parent Adviser Night

Each evening will begin with a brief meeting in the Gaffney Auditorium in which the Assistant Principal, Class of 2026 Adviser Chairs, and NTPA members will share general information about the school year. The presentation in Gaffney will be followed by a group meeting with your individual adviser. These meetings have been scheduled to provide parents with an opportunity to meet the adviser and Bridge Builder early in the school year and to hear about adviser room procedures and sophomore year opportunities. For Advisors' Last Names A-L (*With the exception of the following adviseries: Anne Salisbury, Carrie Sowa, and Chris Van Den Berg). The Class of 2026 Preview of Junior Year Webinar will be presented by the Post-High School Counseling Department (PHSC) for sophomore students and their parents/guardians. The program will share what is ahead for rising juniors including a timeline for post-high school counseling meetings. Additionally, we will share the most current information on testing and college admissions along with graduation requirements. Panelists include PHSC Department Chair Jill Cervantes, post-high school counselor Tom Shorrock, and Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Testing Chimille Tillery. The panel will be moderated by Principal Denise Dubravec. The session will be recorded and available on the New Trier website on the Principal's page and the PHSC page.
