Students will get the information they need to help colleges and universities understand New Trier's unique curriculum and opportunities, and will work through more than half of the application during the workshop. Students can choose which date/time they want to attend and no registration is needed. They should bring their iPad and student ID.

6:30pm-7:30pm Aud - WKA - Gaffney Auditorium (A100) Please join the Post-High School Counseling Department for this important presentation for senior students and their parents/guardians. Learn detailed information about the college application process, important deadlines, how to request and submit required materials, as well as general updates on the college admissions landscape. In addition, there will be information about student athletes and eligibility, fine arts applicants, and students seeking accommodations. A recording will be posted on the PHSC website after the program.

Financial Aid Night
6:30pm-7:30pm Zoom/Webinar Please join the New Trier Post-High School Counseling Department for a special presentation covering the ins and outs of the college financial aid process. Hear from a college financial aid expert who will explain the details of the process of applying for need-based financial aid including information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS Profile. Counselors presenting tonight are Cassandra Barca, Heather Ecklund, Mike O’Connor, and Bob Zigmund. Topics covered in the program include: the counselor, student, and parent roles through the process; a landscape look at college admissions; priorities and considerations for a comprehensive college search; standardized testing, anticipated timelines, and an overview of the New Trier post-high school counseling programs and services that will be provided to help students on this journey. A recording will be posted on the PHSC website after the program.
