Our 42nd Annual Frank Mantooth Jazz Festival at New Trier High School will take place on Saturday, Feb 8, 2025 at the Winnetka Campus and will feature a very special project we're calling "The Chicago Neighborhood Suite" performed by a custom-built ensemble of Chicago's very finest jazz artists. This new piece, commissioned by our festival and arranged by Joe Clark, will feature tunes by 8-10 prominent Chicago jazz artists whose compositions reflect or connect to a specific place in Chicago. Joe is taking these compositions and creating a new work for big band. As we know, Chicago is a city of neighborhoods with an incredible diversity of cultures and musical styles. The meeting will commence at 5:30 pm in open session and the Board will then immediately move to closed session; open session will resume, and the regular business of the Board will commence at 6:30 pm. If no closed session is included in a meeting agenda, the meeting will commence at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise provided.

The High Five Choir will also be collaborating with Comunita (Avoca) & High Five Junior Choir (Wilmette Junior High). This event is free.
